Biography

Raised in the Air Force town of Warner Robins, Georgia, Associate Attorney Mary Jayne Caum relocated to Texas shortly after graduating from law school. In high school, she developed a passion for the law which drove Mary Jayne to work hard through undergrad at Shorter University so she would have the opportunity to attend law school. While at Shorter University, Mary Jayne studied History with an emphasis in World War II, she served as President of the top honor society on campus Alpha Chi, she actively participated in her sorority Zeta Tau Alpha, and she developed long-lasting friendships with those around her. During her time in undergrad, Mary Jayne participated in several internships in our nation's capital, Washington, D.C. where she witnessed the intersection of law and politics. Once she arrived at Mercer University's School of Law, Mary Jayne's passion for the law grew. During this time, she returned to Washington, D.C. to serve at various non-profits as a legal intern or legal fellow. Becoming the first person in her family to graduate from law school, after her graduation in May 2021, Mary Jayne sat for the Bar and later joined Gregg & Gregg in November 2021. Since joining Gregg & Gregg, Mary Jayne has not only become a member of the Texas bar but has become proficient in several areas of law. These areas include wills, trusts, and estates, municipal law, real property law, and contracts. In her free time Mary Jayne enjoys spending time with friends, attending church, and taking her Great Dane Winston to the park!
